India's tour of Zimbabwe that was hanging in the balance is back on track and is scheduled in the months of July and August, the BCCI said in a statement.
The tour was put on hold last month, considering the fatigue factor for the Indians who are currently playing the Champions Trophy and will proceed to the West Indies for a tri-series featuring the hosts and Sri Lanka. After the series, the Indian team will visit Zimbabwe. While the original plan was to play three ODIs, reports suggest it will be extended to a five-match series.
In addition, India A will also tour South Africa in August while the under-19 team will visit Australia in June-July and Sri Lanka in August.
